Autoneum (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd.supports the businesses of other plants in Asia in sales, technology, purchasing, finance and so on. Autoneum (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd. is located in the west north of Shanghai. It has a Development Center and an Acoustic Lab, so can offer service for the project development for the customers in China, Indian, and other areas of Asia. At moment, Autoneum have six wholly owned plants in Chongqing, Taicang, Shenyang, Yantai, Wuqing and Pinghu, as well as two JVs with Nittoku in Guangzhou and Tianjin. In addition, Autoneum have 15 JV plants with Jiangsu Huanyu in China. Autoneum have Behror and Pune wholly owned plants and Chennai JV plant in India, as well as offices in Korea and Thailand.
Main Responsibilities :
1. Pre-sales & quotation:
understand, analyze and transform customer requirements, define technical solution and assess cost and production feasibility, define and release technical documents for quotation and ensure the outputs with required quality and cost effectiveness, striving for business acquisition. Support sales to promote Autoneum products and technology with product and technical expertise to acquiring the customer's recognition on product technology.
2. Product development and validation
lead the design and analysis of product 2D and 3D drawings, analyze production feasibility together with related functions, lead the technical communication with customer and get the product design and validation items confirmed. Lead the trial production and deliver the final material specification and production process plan.
Lead the trouble-shooting during the development to ensure the result.
3. SOP & VAVE & EC
support smooth ramup and SOP. Initiate cost improvement ideas and validate the feasibility together with plant to ensure continuous improvement. Support engineering change e.g. feasibility study and cost related technical solution definition, to meet customer requirements.
4. Benchmarking and documentation
Lead the internal and external benchmark for the related product family in BG Asia for technical promotion and continuous improvement. Complete all technical documents of engineering development and upload to PLM as standard outputs.
Main Qualifications :
Bachelor degree or above majored in material / engineering or other relevant discipline.
3-5 years product development experience in automotive industry.
